 Submit Completed Application Form
Complete online application form and submit. Offline paper based form can be picked up and dropped off at school. Forms must be received by deadline for the academic year.

 Pay Application Fee
All applications must be accompanied by non-refundable application fee. Application fee is $50 for returning students, and $75 for new students before application deadline. After the deadline the fee will be $75 for returning students and $100 for new students. Fee may be paid by check or via online payment page.

 Submit Current & Previous Records
A copy of the candidate’s current and previous academic records and scores must be received along with the application form. Health records should also be forwarded to the school upon admission. All Kindergarten candidates’ applications must be accompanied by a birth certificate and their up-to-date immunization record.

 Interview
Tarbiyah School will schedule an interview with the applicant. This gives us a chance to learn more about the candidates and their families , as well as allows the families to learn more about Tarbiyah. In addition, the admission committee may choose to contact the candidate’s previous school and teachers for further input about the candidate. No interviews will be set up before the completion of all registration requirements.

 Review of Application & Notification
After completing the interviews , the admission committee reviews each application carefully. All accepted candidates are communicated either verbally or in writing about their acceptance .

Following are the admissions criteria:

  • Acceptance and commitment to the mission statement.
  • Academic history based on previous school records (if applicable).
  • Successful completion of placement test (1st through 9th grades only).
  • Admission applications for grade 9 are being solicited. However, a decision to offer these grades will be made by July 31 depending upon the enrollment for these grades and the resources available at the school.
  • Evidence of a history of positive school behavior and academics.
  • Approval based on interview conducted by the Hiring Committee.

 Yearly Tuition & Fees

First Child: $3,500 Per Year

Each Additional Child: $3,000 Per Year

Registration Fee:

$50 for returning students, $75 for new students (Before July 1, admission priority date)

$100 for returning students, $150 for new students (After July 1, late admission)

One Time Resources Fee: $500 per academic year, per student

Volunteering Waiver Fee: $500 per academic year, per family

 Fee Details: 

 Tarbiyah School is a non-profit community school. Tuition & fees cover the actual operation cost of the organization.

 Tuition is charged on an yearly basis at the beginning of each academic year.

 Monthly Installment: Parents who are unable to pay in full at the beginning of academic year, may request for monthly payment plan to be paid in 10 equal monthly installments during the academic year starting in August and ending in June.

  Registration fee covers the administrative cost for processing application. This is a non-fundable fee and due at the time of application. Please note the schedule of this fee and check on due dates prior to application.

 One time resources fee is non-refundation and is due within five days after the admission is granted. This includes fees for (1) text books rental, (2) online books access cost, (3) curriculum and homework system, (4) consumable books, (5) testing, (6) educational supplies, (7) kitchen supplies, (8) bathroom supplies, and (9) general school maintenance.

  • Text books are school property and are provided as a rental included in this fee. Damage to school owned books will require parents to pay the actual replacement and administrative costs.
  • School provides online access to all core subject books and resources.
  • Financing of online curriculum system is also covered in this one time fee.
  • Consumable books are included in this fee and students keep those after the end of the school year. Consumable books are provided only once at the start of school year. Lost consumable books must be purchased separately.
  • This fee also covers expense for National Standardized Testing.
  • This fee includes costs for kitchen and bathroom supplies in particular and overall school maintenance in general.

 Volunteering waiver fee: Tarbiyah School is a non-profit organization and relies on active parents suppoting school operations and mission. We require parents to volunteer a minimum of 50 hours per academic year during the school year. Records are kept for the volunteer hours for each parent. Parents who want to request waiver on their volunteer hours, can do so by payment of volunteering waiver fee. This fee is due by the end of academic year. Partial volunteer hours during academic year can be adjusted according to the hours served.

 Payment Method

Tarbiyah offers automatic withdrawl from your checking account. You will have to sign an automatic monthly withdrawl agreement and provide a voided copy of a check for your checking account.

  • Payments can be also made online via credit or debit card. A 3.5% online processing fee will be charged when paying online. The online payment can be made using the donations box on the home page. 
  • Admission fee is due with the application.
  • Resources fee is due within one week after the admission is granted.
  • Full tuition payment ($3500 for the first child and $3000 for each additional child) is due on or before August 25. Payment by check is preferred.
  • There will be a $35 charge for any returned check. If another check from the same family bounces, subsequent bounces are charged a $55 returned check fee for each incident.
    • If you choose a monthly payment plan, the payment is due by the 5th of every month. A late fee of $35 after 5th day, and $60 after 10th day may also apply. Late fee can be wavied if the delay in the payment is accidental/occasional and not habitual.
  • Non-Volunteering fee is fully refundable at the end of the school year but is fully charged during the first week in September as the school opens.

 Refund Policy

*Tution ($3500 for first child and $3000 for subsequent siblings) is fully refunadable if the child is withdrawn from the school by August 25.

  • Withdrawl after August 25 but before August 31 are eligible for a 75% of the tuition refund.
  • Later withdrawls will require a full payment ($3500 for the first child and $3000 for subsequent siblings) if a child is withdrawn after August 31. No refunds can be given after August 31. Resources are committed based upon enrollment for a one year term (facility, teachers and other resources) and a withdrawal after the school has begun will put the school in severe financial jeoperdy.
  • School administration is not authorized to waive the tuition for anyone. The school resrouces (e.g., building, faculty, equipment) are committed for a 10 month period based upon the number of students at the start of the school year.

 Financial Aid Application Procedure

Children from families with limited income and financial resources are offered partial or full tuition scholarships. Email  financialaid@TarbiyahSchool.org to receive a complete financial aid application package.

Generally, these scholarships are limited to families with income level under 200% of the federal poverty level. Many students receive full or partial financial aid. However, the funds reserved for these scholarships are limited. Complete financial aid applications must be received by July 10 for priority consideration.
